The only time an individual should matter in the group is when you praise them for great work keeping it going against all odds or a terrible performance causing the group to waste a key and their time / money on a war.Ī great example of this was my first run of Depths to get Thorpe and it turned out our tank had no carnelian in his weapon, we spent 45 minutes waiting for him to go to a trading post only to buy a sword that couldn’t even take a gem and waste more of our time. I’m all for individuality in any setting, however when everyone is pushing towards a common goal the DPS shouldn’t be relevant, just that the team succeed. DPS meters always ruin a game as people always want to compare their DPS and think they’re carrying a group and not part of a group.
